The lead
Monday, April 13, 2026 opened the week with real volume on the scoreboard. Finals: MLB.com and ESPN. Below: AthX Engine team and player fantasy leaders for that night, plus links to full game stories. Share prices follow dynamic pricing, not the fantasy tables alone.
The Pittsburgh game set the tone. The Pittsburgh Pirates hung sixteen runs on the Washington Nationals in a 16-5 finish that also drove the top team fantasy score on the board. Our Pirates recap walks through how the game unfolded inning by inning. Paul Skenes also appears on the pitching table for Pittsburgh, which is a useful reminder that big team totals often pair with standout mound work somewhere on the card.
Philadelphia and Chicago added a different kind of noise. Philadelphia outslugged Chicago (NL) 13-7 at Wrigley Field. That kind of final usually spreads fantasy value across multiple names, and it did here: Kyle Schwarber led hitters for the day. Read the Phillies at Cubs recap for pace and matchup context.
Minnesota went to Boston and made Fenway feel like a road park anyway. The Minnesota Twins beat the Boston Red Sox 13-6, a scoreline that signals lineup depth more than a single swing. The Twins recap explains how Minnesota kept answering when the home crowd wanted momentum.
The Bronx stayed loud in a different way. New York (AL) outlasted Los Angeles (AL) 11-10. High combined run totals can produce value on both sides of the box, which is exactly what you see when you pair the leaderboard with the Yankees and Angels recap.
Baltimore and Arizona traded runs in the desert. The Baltimore Orioles beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-7. The Orioles recap covers why the final stayed tight even when the winner never fully vanished.
Seattle looked controlled in Houston. The Seattle Mariners beat the Houston Astros 6-2, the kind of road win where pitching can lead the story. George Kirby sits high on the pitching table for that reason, and the Mariners recap explains the game shape.
Texas still matters on the pitching chart even if your eye went to the East first. Nathan Eovaldi leads the pitching table for the Texas Rangers against LAD on the same night. We include that line because the leaderboard should stay honest about who earned the top pitching fantasy number on April 13, not only who played in the highest-scoring game.
Continuity check. Prior night: April 12. Next: April 14.
