Prices change based on fantasy point production and market activity. Player prices move toward a "pace price" based on their current performance. If a player is performing above their projection, their price will gradually increase. When specific rules apply (like IPO periods), they're shown in-app.
Buy fees: Regular users pay 0.5%, AthX Pro users pay 0% (free buys!). Sell fees vary based on holding period: 0-7 days is 2.5%, 8-14 days is 2.0%, 15-29 days is 1.5%, and 30+ days is just 0.5%. The longer you hold, the lower your sell fee—this encourages long-term investing.
An IPO is when a new player first becomes available for trading. During the IPO period (usually 3-7 days), the price is fixed at the base price. After the IPO ends, trading opens and prices can move based on performance and market activity.
Free shares (from your first deposit or referrals) cannot be sold manually—they're held until the end of the season. However, they are eligible for dividends and count toward your diverse holdings bonus. At season end, free shares are automatically sold along with all other season-based holdings.
If you hold shares for 30+ days, eligible holdings may earn monthly dividends based on fantasy performance. Each eligible holding earns 1% of its value monthly (12% annually if the player stays on pace). The player must be "on pace" (performing at or above the pace implied by their purchase price) to earn dividends.
Hold 10+ full stocks (1.0+ shares each) of different players and earn a monthly bonus on your total portfolio value. Regular users earn 0.25% monthly (3% annually), while Pro users earn 0.50% monthly (6% annually). This bonus rewards diversification!
Dividends are calculated and paid monthly on the 1st. You'll see dividend payments automatically added to your AthX$ balance and in your transaction history. Dividends are paid in AthX$ (in-app currency).
