Rice took the hitter board on two homers and a slam. Tatis and Machado tied at 11 on the first-inning homers that started the 8-0. Riley sat fourth on one swing that won a 5-3. Velázquez sat seventh in a loss. Pitchers were kept off this table. The hitter board is for bats.

What stood out
The team board belonged to the two shutouts. New York sat first. San Diego sat second. A 6-3 on the road still beat a walk-off homer on the team table because six runs and a win fill more than a 5-3. Atlanta still had the loudest at-bat of the afternoon.
The pitcher board belonged to two Game 1 aces who did not give up an earned run. Schlittler and King were a rounding error apart. Sale sat third without the decision. Luzardo sat fourth and still lost when Duran's eighth went to the seats.
The hitter board belonged to Rice's 4-for-5 and to two Padres who went deep before the first inning was two minutes old. Riley's homer was the game.
