Linebacker on AthX Engine is a tackle job with splash plays as bonuses.
Solo tackles pay 3.5. Assists pay 2. That is richer tackle scoring than the DL table, on purpose. Sacks still count, but the players who live in the middle of the field and never leave on third down own this board. If a "linebacker" only rushes the passer, check whether AthX maps him closer to DL production.

Tackle volume is the product
Jordyn Brooks, Zaire Franklin, and Foye Oluokun lead because they still project as every-down magnets. Roquan Smith and Jack Campbell sit right behind them in defenses that funnel run fits their way.
This is why Fred Warner can be a better real-life linebacker than half the names above him and still land 23rd. Coverage excellence without elite tackle volume is not the AthX Engine cheat code. Tackle volume is.
Pass rushers on the LB list
T.J. Watt and Brian Burns show up in the 20s and 30s because the model still maps some edge-hybrid roles into LB. They will not lead pure tackle boards. They can still clear useful IDP totals when sacks and TFLs stack.
Zack Baun in Philadelphia and Ernest Jones in Seattle are the "new home, same production profile" names. Role first, jersey second.
Camp depth charts matter more at LB than almost anywhere else. A player who loses nickel snaps can fall 15 ranks without getting worse at football. Re-check packages in August before you treat a mid-board projection as locked.
