Kumar Rocker threw six scoreless, allowed one hit (Munetaka Murakami's fourth-inning single), struck out six, and walked two for his first win in 10 starts. Brandon Nimmo went deep among four hits. Wyatt Langford added a two-run shot. And the Texas Rangers beat the Chicago White Sox 10-0, per the Associated Press.

Season-high 18 hits. Ninth shutout of the year. Marco Gonzales finished the last three for his first career save.

Nimmo sets the tone

Nimmo's two-run first put Texas ahead and never looked back. Alejandro Osuna drove in three from the nine hole. Noah Schultz (3-7) lasted nowhere near long enough. Texas avoided falling under .500 for the first time since late June and improved to 9-4 after losses of six-plus runs.
