Royals 13, Blue Jays 2: Caglianone Goes 5-for-6 with Six RBI

Five hits. Six RBI. A six-run sixth.

August 27, 2026 – Toronto – Carter Jensen homered in the first. Jac Caglianone kept hitting until Rogers Centre ran out of answers.

He went 5-for-6 with a homer and six RBI. The Kansas City Royals beat the Toronto Blue Jays 13-2. Noah Cameron threw six innings and allowed two runs. Kansas City had lost 3-0 here on Wednesday. Thursday was the correction.

Four early, then 10 after the fifth

Jensen's homer made it 1-0. Bobby Witt Jr. scored on a Salvador Perez fielder's choice and a pitching error. Caglianone singled home Josh Rojas and Witt in the second. 4-0.

The sixth ended it. Kyle Isbel doubled home Rojas. Witt doubled home Isbel. Caglianone singled home Jensen and Witt. Vinnie Pasquantino homered, scoring Caglianone. 10-0. George Springer hit a two-run shot in the bottom of the sixth. That was Toronto's night.

Pasquantino singled home Caglianone in the eighth. Caglianone homered in the ninth, his 23rd, scoring Tyler Tolbert. 13-2.

Spencer Arrighetti lasted four innings and three earned. Simeon Woods Richardson allowed six in the sixth. Cameron: six innings, six hits, two runs, two walks, three strikeouts. He did not need a shutout. The lineup had already printed 10.
