Two homers, a triple off the wall, six RBIs

July 27, 2026 – Flushing – Francisco Lindor opened with an RBI triple off the top of the right-field fence. He followed with a two-run homer. Then, in the eighth, he stacked a three-run shot.

Six RBIs. Three hits. Nineteen Mets hits as a club. And the New York Mets beat the Atlanta Braves 14-3, per the Associated Press.

Marcus Semien’s two-run homer snapped a 3-all tie in the sixth. Tyrone Taylor added a three-run drive in the seventh. Rookie Zac Thornton (2-1) worked into the seventh for the win. Ozzie Albies accounted for all three Atlanta runs, including a two-run homer in the fourth. Juan Soto sat injured. Citi Field still found enough bats to match a season high in hits and hammer a first-place club for the second straight day.

Lindor separated from the field
