Week 4 ended in the Superdome. Atlanta scored 45. Two Falcons running backs reached the end zone five times. Kansas City is still unbeaten. San Francisco is still unbeaten. New England just won in Buffalo's new building. AthX Engine (our projection and scoring system) already has the weekly lines. The skill board belongs to receivers and backs. The IDP board still starts with a safety who lost.
Thursday night in Cleveland is already up. So are six Sunday recaps from Monday's batch. This Top 10 covers the rest of the week through Atlanta at New Orleans.
Top team fantasy scores
AthX Engine team points pay a win, then points scored, then points allowed. A 45-24 Monday night jumps the board. A 15-10 defensive slog does not.
| Rank | Team | Score | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Atlanta Falcons | 45-24 at NO | 110.50 |
| 2 | New York Giants | 36-24 vs ARI | 88.00 |
| 3 | Indianapolis Colts | 30-13 at WAS | 86.75 |
| 4 | Dallas Cowboys | 34-30 at HOU | 75.50 |
| 5 | Carolina Panthers | 32-26 vs DET | 75.50 |
| 6 | Seattle Seahawks | 30-23 vs LAC | 74.25 |
| 7 | Chicago Bears | 23-12 vs NYJ | 70.50 |
| 8 | San Francisco 49ers | 24-14 vs DEN | 70.50 |
| 9 | Kansas City Chiefs | 30-27 at LV | 69.25 |
| 10 | New England Patriots | 29-26 at BUF | 68.00 |
Atlanta's 110.50 is the week. Forty-five points on the road in primetime does that. The Giants and Colts sit next because they scored and they covered. Kansas City's 4-0 night is ninth. Thirty points in Las Vegas still trails a 45-point Monday on this card.
Top skill players
QB, RB, WR, TE, K only. The IDP board is the next table.
| Rank | Player | Pos | Team | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tetairoa McMillan | WR | CAR | 67.00 |
| 2 | CeeDee Lamb | WR | DAL | 60.25 |
| 3 | Kenneth Walker III | RB | KC | 57.25 |
| 4 | Kyren Williams | RB | LA | 53.75 |
| 5 | Drake Maye | QB | NE | 51.02 |
| 6 | Kyle Monangai | RB | CHI | 50.00 |
| 7 | T.J. Hockenson | TE | MIN | 49.25 |
| 8 | Bijan Robinson | RB | ATL | 49.25 |
| 9 | Nico Collins | WR | HOU | 45.00 |
| 10 | Tee Higgins | WR | CIN | 44.75 |
McMillan caught 14 for 192 and two scores on Sunday night with half of Carolina's room out. Lamb had 17 catches in Houston. Walker ripped 177 and two in Las Vegas. Williams scored twice in the fourth in Philadelphia. Maye won the first visitor game at new Highmark. Monangai carried 30 times because Tyson Bagent started.
Hockenson at 49.25 after a 15-10 win is the TE premium being honest. Bijan is eighth after a 145-yard Monday because the IDP and catch games still pay. Collins scored 45.00 in a loss. That is the card.
Top IDP
Sacks and takeaways move this board more than tackle volume. Interceptions move it more than either on the DB table.
| Rank | Player | Pos | Team | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Minkah Fitzpatrick | FS | NYJ | 67.00 |
| 2 | Zach Sieler | DE | MIA | 66.00 |
| 3 | Deonte Banks | CB | NYG | 63.00 |
| 4 | Evan Williams | SAF | GB | 61.50 |
| 5 | Greg Newsome II | CB | NYG | 59.50 |
| 6 | Robert Spears-Jennings | SAF | PIT | 56.50 |
| 7 | Jacob Parrish | CB | TB | 54.50 |
| 8 | Ernest Jones | LB | SEA | 54.00 |
| 9 | Arvell Reese | LB | NYG | 51.50 |
| 10 | Cooper DeJean | CB | PHI | 50.50 |
Fitzpatrick's pick and 16 tackles lead the entire Week 4 player board, skill included, in a 23-12 loss. Sieler posted 66.00 in a Miami loss. Banks and Newsome both scored on the Giants' 36-point afternoon. Jones had a sack and a pick in Seattle. DeJean intercepted Stafford and still walked off a 24-20 home loss.
From the Week 4 card
Six recaps from this leftover-and-Monday batch:
Monday's Sunday recaps are already up: Giants 36, Cardinals 24, Colts 30, Commanders 13, Cowboys 34, Texans 30, Patriots 29, Bills 26, Chiefs 30, Raiders 27, Panthers 32, Lions 26. Thursday night: Browns 27, Steelers 24.
What stood out
Three things, not fifteen rows.
First, Atlanta's Monday is the team board. Forty-five points and five rushing scores in New Orleans. Bijan and Brian Robinson Jr. did not need a high-volume passing night. The Falcons still posted the week's loudest club line.
Second, the skill board is receivers and backs. McMillan, Lamb, Walker, Williams, Monangai, Bijan. Maye is the only quarterback in the top six, and he earned it in Buffalo. Jackson's 34.76 came in two quarters before the ankle.
Third, AthX Engine still pays the secondary when the ball is in the air. Fitzpatrick at 67.00 is the weekly leader, not McMillan. If you only read passing yards, you will misread this marketplace.
