Seven runs before the Athletics scored once

Five and two-thirds. Two hits. One run. Five strikeouts. One walk. The blister that had sidelined him stayed quiet long enough for Minnesota to build a 7-0 lead. Ryan Jeffers went 3-for-5 with three RBIs. Ryan Kreidler doubled three times. And the Minnesota Twins beat the Athletics 11-8 in the rubber game, per the Associated Press.
Kody Clemens added two triples and an RBI. Jeffrey Springs (3-10) exited in the second with an apparent injury after five runs, four earned, in 1 1/3. Nick Kurtz’s three-run homer in the sixth started Oakland’s climb from 7-0 to a late 11-8, but Target Field never fully flipped.
Kreidler led a deep Minnesota card
