Phillies 6, Mariners 0: Luzardo's One-Hitter Through Seven

August 26, 2026 – Seattle – Bryce Harper homered in the first. Kyle Schwarber homered in the second. That was the entire scoring, and it was enough.

Jesús Luzardo threw seven innings, one hit, zero runs, three walks, nine strikeouts. The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Seattle Mariners 6-0 at T-Mobile Park.

Bryan Woo lasted four innings and allowed all six runs. Tuesday's Kirby gem did not carry. Wednesday belonged to the visitors.

Harper's 27th, then Schwarber's 40th

Schwarber scored ahead of Harper's two-run shot in the first. Bryson Stott scored in the second on Justin Crawford's single. Schwarber then hit a three-run homer to right-center, his 40th, scoring Brandon Marsh and Crawford. 6-0. Woo never got the inning back.

Stott went 3-for-4. Harper went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Schwarber went 2-for-5 with three RBI. Luzardo made the rest academic. Tim Mayza threw a scoreless eighth. Jhoan Duran struck out two in the ninth.

Seattle had two hits all night. One of them came after Luzardo left. A 6-0 shutout on two homers is still a shutout. Woo's four-inning, six-run line is the one that sits next to Kirby's 7 2/3 from the night before.
