Tatis sets the volume
Tatis' multi-hit night paced a Padres attack that kept stacking crooked numbers against an obvious-buyer Braves club. Buehler was not surgical (five walks), but two hits and two earned over 5 2/3 were enough with this offense. For a San Diego team still near .500 with a thinned farm, nights like this feed the "AJ Preller will buy" assumption heading into August 3.
