What stood out
Three things.
First, the skater board is a 20-year-old in Calgary and a 36-year-old on the Kings blue line. Gridin at 14.50. Doughty at 10.10. Panarin is the name in between who used to play in this building.
Second, Cooley's 11.00 is the goalie night, and Postava's first start is right behind it. A 5-2 pays the starter more than a 4-3 shootout even when the kid owns the building.
Third, three games is three recaps. Los Angeles 22.20. Calgary 21.00. Detroit 17.80. Matthews hit 800 in a loss. McDavid's point streak is 12. We did not pad the slate.
