Connor's 14.50 is two power-play goals, an assist, and five shots in a 3-2 at Detroit. Gauthier is a tenth behind on two power-play goals, an assist, and the overtime helper. Perfetti had a three-point night on the same Winnipeg power play. Gavrikov scored and assisted in the Garden. Morrissey had two assists and seven shots. Daccord's 32 saves and one goal against sit ahead of every skater. Skinner's 33 saves in a 3-2 are second. Dostal won in overtime. Shesterkin stopped 28 and picked up an empty-net assist that does not add on the goalie card. Markstrom's 4.10 includes the overtime-loss half-point. Wolf's 1.20 is six goals against on 21 saves.

What stood out
Three things.
First, the crease still owned the top of the night. Daccord 14.60 sits a tenth above Connor. A 32-save, one-goal home opener is supposed to win a five-game Sunday. It did.
Second, power plays wrote the 3-2s. All three Winnipeg goals were on the man advantage. All three Anaheim goals were too, including Granlund at 4:14 of overtime. Detroit and Florida scored enough even-strength hockey to make it close. They did not score enough to win.
Third, Seattle's 24.20 is the only blowout math. Three 3-2 winners tied at 16.60. Same card. Different buildings.
