Ravens 24, Eagles 7: Lane's TD, Fagnano's Night, 440 Yards

August 15, 2026 - Baltimore - Lamar Jackson watched. Jalen Hurts watched. The rookies played, and the Baltimore Ravens buried the Philadelphia Eagles 24-7 at M&T Bank Stadium.

Baltimore outgained Philadelphia 440 yards to 159. Ja'Kobi Lane caught three passes for 38 yards and the night's signature touchdown. Joe Fagnano threw for 224. Jesse Minter won his first preseason game as head coach.

Huntley starts it, Lane finishes the first score

Tyler Huntley led the first two series: 6-of-7, 76 yards. His early 29-yard throw to Matt Hibner was the longest play from scrimmage. Tyler Loop pushed a 49-yarder wide right to spoil that drive.

Fagnano took over and found Lane at the 5. Lane powered through two Eagles tacklers for a 16-yard touchdown and a 7-0 lead early in the second. That finished a five-play, 48-yard march. Lane, a third-rounder out of USC, has been the camp buzz for weeks.

"It's super fun to be a part of a hype train," Lane said. "But at the same time, this all can go down by one dropped ball."

Hibner finished with five catches for 61 yards. Fellow fourth-rounder Elijah Sarratt helped the young skill group stack volume. Huntley and Fagnano combined with Austin Reed for 30-of-37 as a team.

Fagnano's volume, Philadelphia's drought

Fagnano went 22-of-28 for 224 yards and the Lane touchdown. He shook off a late second-quarter interception by Kelee Ringo in the end zone and led two 11-play drives after half: Loop from 42 made it 10-0, then Adam Randall plunged from the 4 for 17-0. Austin Reed added a fourth-quarter rushing touchdown.

Philadelphia managed two first downs before a late scoring drive. Andy Dalton was 3-of-6 for 20 yards. Tanner McKee went 6-of-10 for 35. Rookie Cole Payton finally found Erik Ezukanma from 6 yards for the Eagles' only score, capping a nine-play, 69-yard series. Nick Sirianni wanted more.

"Obviously wanted to put a better performance out there," Sirianni said. "We had 40 plays of offense and kept the defense on the field too many times."

Jeremiah Trotter Jr. recorded a sack in a night when Philadelphia's backup line rarely kept clean pockets for long. Shaun Wade forced a Sarratt fumble that Ambry Thomas recovered, but Baltimore still closed it out.
