Packers 31, Bears 7: Watson Twice, McKinney Twice

October 11, 2026 - Green Bay - Christian Watson was wide open down the right sideline. Jordan Love had just converted third-and-1 with Tucker Kraft on a sneak. The next ball traveled 42 yards. 7-0, 5:51 left in the first. Ten plays, 91 yards. Chicago had not touched the ball in the end zone yet. It barely would.

The Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears 31-7 at Lambeau Field. Green Bay is 3-2. Chicago is 3-2 after a two-game win streak died without Caleb Williams. Williams was inactive with a hamstring strain for a third straight week, per the AP. Tyson Bagent started. Case Keenum finished. Love went 25 of 31 for 367, two scores, no picks, and a 137.5 rating, the most passing yards by a Packer against the Bears at Lambeau, per ESPN.

Last winter Chicago erased 21-3 in a wild-card game and Williams grated cheese on the field. Sunday was the reply.

14-0, a 1-yard answer, then Watson again

Xavier McKinney intercepted Bagent two plays after the opening score and put Green Bay at the Chicago 45. MarShawn Lloyd ran over Jaylon Johnson from 7 on the first snap of the second quarter. First career rushing touchdown. First Packers rushing score of the season. 14-0.

Green Bay then went three series without a first down. D'Andre Swift punched in from a yard on fourth-and-goal. 14-7. That was Chicago's night on the scoreboard.

The third quarter opened with a 43-yard Love ball to J. Michael Sturdivant that would have been a touchdown. Offensive pass interference. Third-and-22. Love had time. Watson reached over Dillon Thieneman's helmet from 53. Trey Smack missed the extra point. 20-7.

Smack made 35 after Kraft's 46-yard catch to the 16. 23-7. McKinney's second pick set up Lloyd from 4 on the first play of the fourth. Matthew Golden caught the two-point pass. 31-7. Keenum came in. Ty'Ron Hopper intercepted him. Devonte Wyatt strip-sacked him. Dani Dennis-Sutton recovered at the Green Bay 41. Five takeaways.

367 yards, 245 the other way

Watson caught six for 143 and both scores. Golden had six for 123, a career high in yards, plus the conversion. Kraft caught all five targets for 64. Lloyd ran 10 times for 31 and the two plunges. Love took two sacks and still finished the afternoon at 137.5.

Chicago had 246 yards and 17 first downs after averaging 433.5 yards and 29 first downs in wins over Philadelphia and the Jets, per the Bears. NBC Sports listed the Packers at 428 yards to Chicago's 245. Bagent was 12 of 21 for 87, two interceptions, two sacks. Keenum was 11 of 19 for 108, one pick, a lost fumble, two sacks. Swift ran nine times for 43 and the 1-yarder, plus four catches for 30. Rome Odunze had three for 40 and a fumble. Luther Burden III caught four for 47. Kyle Monangai was inactive (thumb/toe). Austin Booker had two sacks, three tackles for loss, and a forced fumble in a loss.

Ben Johnson said Williams is on track and that Atlanta next week will be close. Keenum, 38, talked about identity getting forged in the fire. The fire was 31-7.
