Packers 23, Cowboys 13: Love and Two Picks Quiet Dallas at Lambeau

October 18, 2026 - Green Bay - The first series converted a third-and-5, two third-and-13s, and a third-and-6. The last of those was Matthew Golden from 9. The fireworks at Lambeau went off on schedule that time. The Green Bay Packers beat the Dallas Cowboys 23-13 and made it three in a row.

Green Bay is 4-2, tied with Chicago for second in the NFC North behind unbeaten Minnesota. Dallas is 2-4. The Packers are 11-1-1 in their last 13 meetings with the Cowboys, the AP wrote.

Jordan Love went 23 of 41 for 276 yards, one touchdown, one pick, and a 1-yard sneak. He was sacked three times and hit eight, Matt LaFleur said. Golden caught six for 104 and the opener. He also dropped balls that would have been 43 and 23 yards in the end zone, the AP said. The stadium fireworks fired early on the 23-yarder while officials were already waving it incomplete.

17-0, two picks inside the 30, then a half Dallas never scored in

Green Bay entered converting 27.6% of third downs, last in the league. Dallas entered allowing 52.6% on third down, last in the league. The Packers went 9 of 10 before halftime, Mike Spofford wrote. Their only miss was third-and-goal from the 2. Trey Smack kicked it. Love's sneak was the other touchdown. 17-0 at the break. It was Dallas's first scoreless first half since Nov. 7, 2021, at Denver, the AP said.

Dak Prescott went 34 of 54 for 258 yards, one score, and two interceptions. Evan Williams and Brandon Cisse, Green Bay's first-round pick this year, both picked him inside the Packers' 30 in the second quarter. Cisse's first career interception came after CeeDee Lamb slipped on the turf, Rob Demovsky wrote. Prescott had already thrown two in the second half last week at Tampa Bay. Todd Archer noted it was his first two-pick first half since Week 17 of 2022 against the Giants.

Dee Winters dove for Dallas's first interception of the season late in the first quarter, then got up and ran. Replay ruled Golden had touched him while he was still on the ground. Winters later left with an Achilles strain. KaVontae Turpin exited with a rib. Cisse left with a stinger.

Three sacks for Dallas, 22 flags for everybody

Quinnen Williams sacked Love. Elijah Garcia had the second. Kenny Clark, part of the Micah Parsons trade, had the third. It was Dallas's first three-sack game of 2026, Archer wrote. It did not change the scoreboard.

Javonte Williams scored from the ground in the third. 17-7, then Smack from 44. 20-7. Smack added 29. nflverse has him 3 of 3 and both extras. Prescott found Ryan Flournoy from 6 with 44 seconds left. The two-point throw to Lamb failed. 23-13.

Lamb caught nine for 70 on 18 targets. George Pickens had six for 73 on 11. Combined, 15 catches, 143 yards, 29 targets, LaFleur said. Only one of Prescott's 34 completions went longer than 17 yards, Spofford wrote. Dallas went 5 of 13 on third down and lost two fourth downs in scoring territory.

The Packers held three straight opponents to 14 points or fewer. The last time that happened in Green Bay was 2016. Javon Bullard talked about becoming the best defense in the league. The penalty sheet was louder than that quote. Each club was flagged 11 times. Dallas 108 yards. Green Bay 96.

Josh Jacobs comes off the commissioner's exempt list Monday, the AP wrote. He has not played this season. Pierre Strong ran 11 times for 28 and caught five for 39. MarShawn Lloyd had eight for 10. Tucker Kraft caught five for 37. Christian Watson had three for 64 and let a 26-yard scoring ball go through his hands in the third after a deflection.

Dallas visits Philadelphia on Oct. 26. Green Bay visits Detroit next Sunday. Brian Schottenheimer said they put themselves in a hole. Love said it felt good to get to 4-2. He also said he wants every throw caught.

AthX Engine on a Sunday night that paid the secondary

AthX Engine NFL scoring already has the Week 6 line in. Evan Williams and Cisse land at 50.00 apiece, the top totals in this game. Quinnen Williams is 42.00. Love is 35.08. Golden is 35.00. Clark is 34.00. Garcia is 33.00. Green Bay's team line is 69.25. Dallas's is -5.25.

Fantasy points measure the box. Price is what traders will pay for a Packers defense that just held Lamb and Pickens without a score, and for a Cowboys offense that threw 54 times and still left Lambeau 2-4. They move together. They are not the same number.

Track Love, Prescott, Lamb, Pickens, and both clubs on the marketplace. Green Bay visits Detroit next Sunday. Dallas visits Philadelphia on Oct. 26.
