The Deal

The agreement came 18 hours after the Mets missed out on Kyle Tucker, who signed with the Dodgers. Bichette, the son of four-time All-Star Dante Bichette, made his MLB debut in 2019 and has been a consistent middle-of-the-order bat for Toronto.
