Bengals 35, Ravens 13: Burrow Wakes Up After a 13-0 Hole

October 25, 2026 - Baltimore - For 30 minutes the Cincinnati Bengals looked like the team that had just used a bye and wasted it. Nineteen plays. Fifty-nine yards. Two first downs. Zero points.

Then Joe Burrow completed 16 of his last 18 for 249 yards and four scores, and Cincinnati walked out of M&T Bank Stadium 35-13. The Bengals are 4-2 and 1-0 in the AFC North. The Baltimore Ravens are 4-3 and 0-2 in it. Lamar Jackson sat a third straight week with the ankle. Tyler Huntley still had 13-0 at the half. He did not have a second-half point.

NFL Research said the 35-0 second half was the most points by a team shut out before the break since Minnesota scored 39 in the largest comeback in league history in 2022. The Ravens said it was the first time an opponent scored 35 unanswered on them.

Flowers from 48, then two field goals and a 13-0 rest

Huntley's first throw sequence did not look like a backup night. Four plays, 65 yards. Zay Flowers took a screen 48 yards behind blocks the Ravens named: Devontez Walker, Roger Rosengarten, John Simpson. 7-0, 13:36 of the first.

Baltimore kept the ball. An 18-play, 78-yard march ate 11:00, the club's longest drive of the season in plays and time, and died at Tyler Loop's 34-yarder. 10-0. Loop made 24 with 50 seconds left in the half after 13 more plays. 13-0. The Ravens said they outgained Cincinnati 258-59 before the break, converted 8 of 11 third downs, and held the ball 22:20. They also had five pre-snap penalties in the first half.

Cincinnati crossed midfield once. Ja'Marr Chase told Geoff Hobson he was angry. "I was screaming for somebody to make a play for us, and I told our offense we can't let our defense stay out there the whole time."

Zac Taylor credited Chase's halftime voice. The first series after the break covered 66 yards in nine plays. Burrow went 6-for-6 on it. Mike Gesicki scored from 6. 13-7. Gesicki's fifth touchdown of the season, the Bengals said, tied for the NFL lead among tight ends, and it was his fourth straight game with one.

Higgins to the lead, then it was 35-0 the rest of the way

Six plays, 47 yards. Burrow found Tee Higgins from 13. 14-13. Higgins finished six for 148 and that score. The Bengals said he passed 6,000 career receiving yards (6,012 in 91 games).

Baltimore still had a chance to punch back. Trailing by one on the first snap of the fourth, Huntley faced fourth-and-2 from the Cincinnati 12. The throw for Josh Cuevas never got there. Turnover on downs. Six plays later Samaje Perine scored from a yard. 21-13.

Chase scored from 2 after five plays and 79 yards. 28-13. Demetrius Knight Jr. intercepted Huntley. Three plays, 24 yards, Drew Sample from 16. 35-13. Burrow finished 22 of 30 for 292, four touchdowns, no picks, one sack. Chase caught five for 62. Chase Brown ran 11 times for 39 and caught four for 19.

Huntley went 23 of 34 for 298, a career high the Ravens listed, one touchdown, one interception, and four sacks. Derrick Henry ran 17 times for 45. NFL Next Gen Stats had him at a 17.6% rushing success rate, a second straight week under 25%. Flowers caught eight for 137. Mark Andrews had three for 23.

Boye Mafe had 1.5 sacks in the nflverse weekly line. The Bengals credited him with two, including a third-down drop of Huntley in the fourth. Dexter Lawrence had a sack. Cincinnati's defense, after a first half of missed tackles, had four sacks and the Knight pick. The Ravens have been outscored 48-0 in the second half of their last two games, the club wrote, and have not scored a second-half touchdown in four games this season.

Baltimore had three drives inside the Cincinnati 15 that produced six points, the Ravens said. Loop made both of his kicks, from 34 and 24, and the extra point after Flowers. Evan McPherson made all five extra points and did not attempt a field goal. Justice Hill caught three for 26. Rashod Bateman had two for 33. Erick All caught three for 26 for Cincinnati. Next Gen Stats had Burrow's second-half passer rating at 158.3. The Ravens said they have a plus-65 scoring differential in first halves this season and minus-70 after halftime. Ted Karras told Bengals.com the sun was shining in Baltimore, the first day game here for Cincinnati since the 41-17 win in 2021.

Cincinnati hosts the Titans in Week 8.
