Four finals on Monday. New York stayed 6-0-0 at the Garden. Philadelphia beat last season's Presidents' Trophy club with five regulars out. Toronto ended a three-game slide on Gavin McKenna's first power-play goal. Utah survived 5-2 becoming 5-4. AthX Engine (our projection and scoring system) scored all four NHL boxes. We recapped every final. We did not invent extra games.
Top team fantasy scores
AthX Engine team points pay a win, half-credit for an overtime loss, then goals for and against. A 5-2 pays like a home night that was 5-0 into the last two minutes. A 5-4 still pays. A regulation loss that scores twice can sit near the floor. A 2-5 or 1-3 floors at 0.
| Rank | Team | Score | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | New York Rangers | 5-2 vs ANA | 21.00 |
| 2 | Utah Mammoth | 5-4 vs PIT | 19.00 |
| 3 | Toronto Maple Leafs | 3-1 vs SJS | 17.60 |
| 4 | Philadelphia Flyers | 3-2 vs COL | 16.60 |
| 5 | Pittsburgh Penguins | 4-5 at UTA | 3.80 |
| 6 | Colorado Avalanche | 2-3 at PHI | 1.40 |
| 7 | Anaheim Ducks | 2-5 at NYR | 0.00 |
| 7 | San Jose Sharks | 1-3 at TOR | 0.00 |
New York owns the club night on 5-2. Utah is 2.00 behind on a 5-4 that needed a pad save. Toronto's 17.60 is 3-1. Philadelphia's 16.60 is the second win after nine losses. Pittsburgh keeps 3.80 for scoring four and losing in regulation. Colorado is 1.40. Anaheim and San Jose sit at the floor.
Top skaters
C, W, and D only. Goalies have their own table. Gabe Perreault, Noel Acciari, Kevin Stenlund, Nate Schmidt, Mason Marchment, and Darren Raddysh are not seeded on AthX player pages, so those names stay unlinked.
| Rank | Player | Pos | Team | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Auston Matthews | C | TOR | 11.80 |
| 2 | Matvei Michkov | W | PHI | 10.20 |
| 3 | Oliver Bjorkstrand | W | NYR | 9.80 |
| 3 | Trevor Zegras | C | PHI | 9.80 |
| 5 | Erik Karlsson | D | PIT | 9.10 |
| 6 | Rickard Rakell | W | PIT | 8.80 |
| 7 | Nick Schmaltz | C | UTA | 8.20 |
| 8 | Kevin Stenlund | C | UTA | 7.70 |
| 9 | Noel Acciari | C | PHI | 7.40 |
| 10 | Alexis Lafrenière | W | NYR | 7.30 |
Matthews' 11.80 is the power-play one-timer, two assists, and the empty-net helper. Michkov's 10.20 is two goals, including the power-play opener that survived a challenge. Bjorkstrand and Zegras share 9.80: two bar-down finishes in 12:08, and three assists on a Flyers roster missing five regulars. Karlsson's 9.10 and Rakell's 8.80 are Pittsburgh's answers in a 5-4 loss. Stenlund's 7.70 and Acciari's 7.40 sit unlinked. Lafrenière's 7.30 is two assists, including the tic-tac-toe that made it 3-0.
Top goalies
Win, 0.4 per save, minus 1.2 per goal against, plus 2 for a shutout, plus 0.5 for an overtime loss. No shutouts on the slate. Sergei Bobrovsky, Dylan Garand, Ville Husso, and Sebastian Cossa are unlinked.
| Rank | Player | Team | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sergei Bobrovsky | TOR | 13.80 |
| 2 | Dylan Garand | NYR | 12.20 |
| 3 | Joseph Woll | PHI | 10.20 |
| 4 | Yaroslav Askarov | SJS | 9.20 |
| 5 | Mackenzie Blackwood | COL | 4.80 |
| 6 | Sebastian Cossa | UTA | 4.20 |
| 7 | Ville Husso | ANA | 4.00 |
| 8 | Arturs Silovs | PIT | 3.60 |
Bobrovsky's 30-save home win is the night's top line, first star in Toronto. Garand's 29-save win is 12.20 and a Garden that is still unbeaten. Woll's first win as a Flyer is 10.20. Askarov's 29-save loss is 9.20. The NHL box is 29 saves on 31 shots in 58:59. The Associated Press recap listed 28. Cossa's 15-save win is 4.20 because four goals against wipe the volume.
Featured games
Monday had four finals. All four are here.
What stood out
Three things.
First, the skater board is a center and two wingers who actually finished. Matthews at 11.80. Michkov at 10.20. Bjorkstrand at 9.80. Zegras matches that 9.80 without a goal. Nathan MacKinnon is 0.60. Sidney Crosby is 0.10.
Second, the goalie board is Bobrovsky's first home win in Toronto, then Garand keeping a building perfect without Igor Shesterkin. Cossa still gets the W at 4.20 because 15 saves and four goals against do not look like Bobrovsky's 13.80.
Third, New York's 21.00 is a 5-2 that was 5-0 until the last 70 seconds. Utah's 19.00 is a lead that nearly walked off. That is a four-game Monday. No extra recaps.
