Skinner's 32 saves in a 3-2 against Colorado sit ahead of every skater. Levi's 29-save win is unlinked. Thompson's 27-save home opener is 10.20. Dostal allowed five in 39:41 and was pulled; the line goes negative because the goals-against penalty outran 12 saves.

What stood out
Three things.
First, the skater board belongs to a defenseman who won and a Duck who lost. Bouchard has six goals in four games. Sennecke had two power-play goals before Edmonton scored five unanswered, and he still sits 0.20 behind Bouchard.
Second, Skinner outscored the skaters. Thirty-two saves against Colorado's 34 shots is the night's top AthX Engine line, and it came in the lowest-scoring final.
Third, Ovechkin's last home opener did not need Ovechkin's goal. Wilson, Dubois, and Tuch beat Crosby even strength. Pittsburgh got back to 4-3. Leonard's power-play snap ended the argument.
