Four finals on Monday. One shutout. One 4-1 in Tampa. One 4-1 in Boston. One 3-2 that flipped twice in the third. AthX Engine (our projection and scoring system) scored the NHL boxes. Every completed game is recapped below.
Top team fantasy scores
AthX Engine team points pay a win, half-credit for an overtime loss, then goals for and against. A 5-0 jumps the board. A 4-1 still pays. Regulation losses that get outscored hard floor at 0.
| Rank | Team | Score | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Dallas Stars | 5-0 vs SJS | 23.00 |
| 2 | Tampa Bay Lightning | 4-1 vs PHI | 19.80 |
| 2 | Ottawa Senators | 4-1 at BOS | 19.80 |
| 4 | Winnipeg Jets | 3-2 at PIT | 16.60 |
| 5 | Pittsburgh Penguins | 2-3 vs WPG | 1.40 |
| 6 | Philadelphia Flyers | 1-4 at TBL | 0.00 |
| 6 | Boston Bruins | 1-4 vs OTT | 0.00 |
| 6 | San Jose Sharks | 0-5 at DAL | 0.00 |
Dallas is the club night. Tampa and Ottawa are the same 4-1 winner math. Winnipeg is the 3-2. Pittsburgh keeps 1.40 on two goals. The three regulation losers floor at 0.
Top skaters
C, W, and D only. Goalies have their own table. Declan Carlile scored 9.80 and is not seeded, so that name stays unlinked. James Hagens scored for Boston and is unlinked too.
| Rank | Player | Pos | Team | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Tim Stützle | C | OTT | 12.80 |
| 2 | Declan Carlile | D | PIT | 9.80 |
| 3 | Jamie Benn | W | DAL | 9.40 |
| 4 | Jason Robertson | W | DAL | 8.90 |
| 5 | Pontus Holmberg | W | TBL | 8.80 |
| 5 | Brandon Hagel | W | TBL | 8.80 |
| 7 | Michael Amadio | W | OTT | 8.20 |
| 8 | Ben Kindel | C | PIT | 7.70 |
| 8 | Alex Iafallo | W | WPG | 7.70 |
| 10 | Ilya Mikheyev | W | TBL | 7.10 |
Stützle's 12.80 is two goals, an assist, three shots, and a block at TD Garden. The NHL recap called the first goal short-handed. The box did not add that bonus, so the Engine line stays 12.80. Carlile had a goal, an assist, three shots, and three blocks in a 3-2 loss. Benn and Robertson are the Dallas pair. Holmberg and Hagel tied at 8.80 in Tampa.
Top goalies
Win, 0.4 per save, minus 1.2 per goal against, plus 2 for a shutout, plus 0.5 for an overtime loss. Nine goalies saw shots. Clay Stevenson and Sergei Murashov are not seeded.
| Rank | Player | Team | AthX Engine FP |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Clay Stevenson | WPG | 12.60 |
| 2 | Jake Oettinger | DAL | 10.20 |
| 3 | Dan Vladar | PHI | 9.20 |
| 4 | Linus Ullmark | OTT | 9.00 |
| 5 | Sergei Murashov | PIT | 8.80 |
| 6 | Andrei Vasilevskiy | TBL | 7.00 |
| 7 | Jeremy Swayman | BOS | 3.20 |
| 8 | Yaroslav Askarov | SJS | 2.40 |
| 9 | Samuel Ersson | OTT | 2.00 |
Stevenson's 30 saves and two goals against in a Jets debut sit a tenth under Stützle and ahead of every other skater. Oettinger's 13-save shutout is 10.20. Vladar stopped 32 and still lost. Ullmark's 9.00 is a win, 10 saves, and no goals against in 40 minutes before Ersson finished the third.

Monday had four finals. All four are recapped:
What stood out
Three things.
First, the crease still owned half the night. Stevenson 12.60. Oettinger 10.20. Vladar 9.20 in a loss. A 30-save debut and a 13-save shutout are different jobs. Both paid.
Second, Stützle wrote the skater board by himself. Two in the first at the Garden. Ottawa's 19.80 matches Tampa's 4-1 math. Boston's power play stayed 0-for-10 on the season, per the NHL recap.
Third, Dallas's 23.00 is the only blowout card, and it came without Celebrini on the other bench. A late scratch. A 5-0. The Sharks' 2-0-0 start ended in a building that had not won yet.
